Intersquad Meet @ Rolling Hills Swim Pool
Jun 3 @ 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Our Intersquad meet is on Saturday, June 3rd at 9am (set-up and warm-up times below). The intersquad meet is a great way for swimmers to get base times for the swim season. These times will help support their placements in future meets. Each swimmer will swim in 4 events (backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle).  No relays will be held at this meet.

Set-up begins at 7:30am. Upon arrival and start of the meet, find the volunteer lead to sign for your hours.  Click here for the volunteer sign-up. It is a great time to fill one of your required jobs.

Warm-ups: Please have your swimmer on-time to warm-ups. Here are the warm-up times for each group.

7:40 am – 15 & over

8:00 am –14&U and 12&U

8:20 am –10&U and 8&U

The meet should end around 12pm. There will be no concessions available at this meet. We will be serving hot cocoa for our swimmers. Please do not use the townhome parking lots. These are reserved for residents. Use the big field for overflow parking.

Intersquad After Party @ Newcastle Beach Park

Grab your family and join us at the Newcastle Beach Park for lunch, games, a chat with the coaches and s’mores.  The after-party will begin after the intersquad meet and you can stay as long as you’d like.

The team will be providing pizza and s’mores.  Please consider bringing drinks, lawn games, snacks, chairs, and roasting sticks.

Coaches corner will begin at 1pm followed by s’mores.

Concessions – We will have full concessions at this meet. We usually sell Burgers, Hot Dogs, Pasta, Caesar Salad, Chips, Candy, Drinks, Etc. We accept credit or cash. We are also selling $20 punch cards.

Overlake Swim Club – (A Meet) Away Meet @ Overlake Pool

Thursday, June 15th – Away Meet against Overlake Swim Club

Location – 8000 NE 16th St, Medina, WA. Please make sure you drive 25mph in the city.

Warm-ups start time – 5:15-5:45pm. Meet start time – 6:00pm

Additional times: Coaches meeting w/ referee, director, and starter – 4:40. Timers Meeting – 5:15pm Officials Meeting – 5:15pm

Parking and Tent/Chair Set-up – Please park in the large parking lot (located to the right at the bottom of the hill). Parallel parking is also available on either side of the hill of 16th Street. Please enter via the Swim Meet Entrance (the side gate at the South of the Pool House). Our shallow seating area and lawn are reserved for our visiting teams. Please bring foldable chairs, blankets, & tents.

Concessions – We will have chicken strips, burgers, Caesar salad, and various snacks (chips, ice cream, candy) and beverages (water, soda) for purchase. Please bring cash.

Combined A/B Meet with Seattle Tennis Club @ Seattle Tennis Club

Location: Seattle Tennis Club – 922 McGilvra Blvd East Seattle, WA 98112

Warm-ups start time – 5:15pm. Meet start time – 6:00pm

Timers Meeting – 5:30pm Officials Meeting – 5:45pm

Parking and Tent/Chair Set-up – Please park on the street near the club, but not in the parking lot which is reserved for STC members only. Please be sure that you do not block any driveways. When you arrive at the club walk down the ramp and take the staircase closest to the clubhouse, down all the way to the ground floor. Walk past the clubhouse and snack bar to the pool area.  -there will be signs up directing you to the pool. The pool deck will be reserved for your team, we will have some chairs and umbrellas for shade. You are welcome to bring chairs and canopies to set up. Locker rooms are inside the clubhouse by the pool. Girls and boys may use Girls and Boys locker rooms/showers. Adults may use Women’s and Men’s locker rooms.

Concessions – Buffet available from 5:30-7:30 for $12, menu below. Full snack bar menu available for purchase  open until 8pm menu attached. Full bar available for purchase.  All alcoholic drinks must be kept off the pool deck. We will only be able to accept credit cards for payment.

Away Meet at Kingsgate Gators (A Meet) @ Kingsgate V Pool

Thurs. June 29th Away A Meet against Kingsgate Gators

Location: Kingsgate V Pool – 14241 128th Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98034

Warm-ups start time – 5:15pm Meet start time – 6:00pm

Officials and Timers meeting will be held at 5:45pm next to the starter stand and staging area.

Parking – There is no parking on 144th street by the pool in the bike lane (north of the pool) – police will ticket you if you park there (traveling East on 144th). Do not park in front of driveways or mailboxes or in the first cul-de-sac to the southeast of the pool.

Chair/Canopies – Rolling Hills families can utilize space on the pool deck along the fence, expanded to include the entire wall, as well as the parking lot. Bleachers will be placed for good view of the pool and covered during rainy meets.  No canopies may be placed anywhere on the pool deck unless inclement weather is active or forecasted.

Concessions – Taquizas Chavez food truck will be at the meet. Unsure what type of payment they accept. KGG also has a great selection of concessions offered by our pool house accessed from the pool deck. KGG concessions accepts cash and card.

Parking – There is parking available in the main lot and street parking. Please do not block driveways.

Chair/Canopies -Please see the map for set up locations for all tents and belongings. No tents on the pool deck.

Concessions – Food will be available for purchase in the Robert Burns room (near pool entrance) from 5-8PM. Please remember there is absolutely no alcohol allowed on the pool deck or the parking lot.

Golf Course – Please do not let children run or play near or on the golf course. People will be playing golf and we don’t want anyone to get hurt. This also applies to the putting green and pro shop area. There is no swimwear allowed in the restaurant. Swimmers and families can purchase food and drinks downstairs in the room near the pool entrance.

This meet will be our last home meet and our senior meet. We will recognize our seniors during the meet. We will also finish out the meet with our senior and parent relays.

Senior Sleepover @ Rolling Hills Pool and Field

The senior sleepover will be held Tues, July 11th after the swim meet. This event is for the senior group (15 and up) only. The senior group will camp out on the Rolling Hills field. Bring a tent and sleeping bag. They will have a campfire and smores. In the morning, the group usually heads somewhere for breakfast. The senior swimmers are in need of two parent volunteers to help start a fire, put tents up, and provide supervision throughout the night. Ideally the supervision would be provided by parents of senior swimmers. Please click this link to volunteer.

Away Swim Meet at Kingsgate Royals (B Meet) @ Kingsgate Royals Pool

Location: 11711 NE 137th St, Kirkland, WA 98034 (Kingsgate 1&2 Pool)

Warm-ups start time – 5:15pm  Meet start time – 6:00pm

Officials and Timers meeting: 5:40pm (for both 1st AND 2nd half volunteers)

Parking – They have a number of spots at the pool. Your coaches and officials are welcome to park there. There is access to the pool from both NE 137th St and 118th Ave NE. When parking on the street, please be respectful of our neighbors and do not park in their driveways, in front of their mailboxes, and be aware of fire hydrants.

Chair/Canopies – They have a large park with plenty of room for everyone to set up their picnic items. Your families are welcome to bring canopies. Please ensure a wide path is maintained to access the pool. We have a playground as well. You may start arriving and setting up at 4:30 PM.

Spectators – We have a 5 lane, 25 yard pool. The side of the pool deck that is next to the pool house is reserved for coaches & officials. We will have a staging area behind the blocks, with volunteers to help organize the swimmers. The other 2 sides of the pool (the end near the kiddie pool, and the side across from the tennis courts) is open for spectators.

Meet Timers – We ask that your volunteer timers arrive with fully charged, Swimmingly compatible phones, and the Swimmingly App already downloaded. We will have ONE meeting at 5:40 PM by the pool shed for timers of both halves. 2nd half timers need to report to the pool shed no later than event 38.

Concessions – Food Truck – The Cheese Pit (Looks like grilled sandwiches). The food truck takes cash and card. Kingsgate does not have a concessions, but will be selling some soda/drinks, popsicles, chips and candy that is left from a recent event. They will accept venmo and cash.

A Champs @ KCAC

A-Champs is only for those swimmers who have met a qualifying time standard. Coaches have notified those swimmers who are eligible to attend.

Warm-ups start time – 8:20am (Group D – Lane 6)  Meet start time – 9:00am

Table Officials– 8:15 am in Meeting Room behind Announcer’s Table
Timers – 8:30 am in Meeting Room to left of Control Room

Timers: Timers must have timed a minimum of 2 dual meets this season or have prior championship meet experience and need to bring their own digital
watches. All timers must check in at the volunteer table, by 8:25am for first session timers, by 10:25am for second and 12:25pm for third session timers.
Timers should report to their meeting 30 minutes prior to the start of each session, in the room to the left of the control room.

Parking – Parking Lot Attendants and signage will guide you to an appropriate parking spot. We encourage carpooling as KCAC has limited parking. Each coaching staff will be supplied two parking spaces in front. Officials, Midlakes
Board Members, and select volunteers will also have a parking space in front, as
designated by a controlled parking list and pass. All other attendees will park in back or at the suggested lots in the attached parking document.

Spectators: KCAC provides bleacher seating for 2500 spectators. Folding chairs allowed behind the railing in marked platform areas only, not in the bleacher sections. Please observe signage in the spectator areas. The pool deck will be limited to Swimmers, Coaches and Officials. All others will be turned away

Concessions – Concessions provided by King County Aquatic Center contractor. Neither Midlakes nor the host clubs receive any benefit from concession sales.

Awards Celebration @ Rolling Hills Swim Pool

Set-up:  We will be celebrating our swimmers on the pool deck. Families are free to set up tents and chairs in the grass. After the ceremony, the pool will be open for use until 9pm.

We’re excited to celebrate the swimmers’ accomplishments this season.

Also, traditionally we collect donations to distribute to our coaches to show our extra appreciation for a wonderful and successful swim season. This year, you can donate through Zelle before and during the ceremony, or cash at the ceremony. Your contributions are appreciated.
