The Concessions Workshare role includes set-up, working the concession stand during the meet, and clean-up.
🏕️ Set-Up
Before the meet, concession volunteers are responsible for getting everything ready to sell, including:
- 🧊 Get the coolers out of the snack shack.
- Fill the coolers with ice.
- 🥤 Stock the coolers with beverages.
- 🪑 Set up tables for food and other concession items, such as the baked potato bar.
- ⛺ Set up the canopy tent over the concession tables.
- 🍿 Set out food, drinks, and other items for sale.
💳 Working Concessions
During the meet, volunteers will:
- Sell food, beverages, and other concession items.
- Take payments using Zeffy on the team iPhone.
- Keep the concession area organized and stocked throughout the meet.
- Provide friendly service to swimmers, families, officials, and visiting teams. 😊
🧹 Clean-Up
After the meet, concession volunteers are responsible for cleaning up and returning everything to its proper location:
- 🧊 Empty, clean, and put away the coolers.
- 🪑 Take down and put away all tables.
- ⛺ Take down and put away the canopy tent.
- 🍿 Clean up the concession area.
- 📦 Return all concession supplies and equipment to their designated storage areas.
