🔌 Electrical, Sound System & Kiddy Pool Area

1. String extension cords
   • Run the extension cord from the equipment room outlet (located above the double doors) across the top of the fence to the metal picnic tables above the pool deck.
   • Plug the power strip into the extension cord.
   • Plug in the speakers and the additional extension cord for the Starter speaker.
2. Set up the sound system
   • Speakers and microphone are located in the green bins by the metal picnic tables above the pool deck.
   • First speaker: Attach it to the PVC pipe near the boys’ bathroom.
     • Use the long blue cord.
     • Plug the small end of the split cord into the hub.
     • Place the cord along the top of the fence to connect it to the speaker.
   • Second speaker: Attach it to the PVC pipe.
     • Connect the speaker to the hub using the shorter black cord.
   • Plug the microphone into the speaker hub.
3. Kiddy pool area
   • Set up one tent over the table in the kiddy pool area.
   • One set of the tent legs should be placed on the other side of the small fence.

🎙️ Starter Area

1. Set up the two tan pop-up tents over the metal picnic tables above the pool deck.
   • Tents are located in the back room of the equipment room.
2. Move one round table under the two pop-up tents, between Block #1 and the lifeguard chair.
3. Set up the Starter speaker (located in a brown box).
   • Get the tripod from the back room.
   • The tripod inverts to make it taller.
   • Plug in the Starter microphone.
   • Plug in the dongle that connects to the Starter’s phone to run Swimmingly.
4. Place the long black mat over the Starter speaker cords.
   • The mat is located in the open area near the boys’ bathroom with the other mats.
   • Place the mat behind the Starter over the cords.

🏊 Pool Deck Set-Up

1. North Side of the Pool — Bleachers

• Move the lifeguard chair on the north side of the pool to the back corner by the 4th block.
• Place the event flipper on the lifeguard stand.
• Set out 2–3 white chairs for the visiting team coaches on the north side of the pool by the dive tank cutout.

2. False Start & Officials’ Ropes

• Put up the false start rope located in the equipment room.
  • 1 cross rope
• Set up the officials’ ropes on both sides of the pool.
  • 2 ropes total — one on each side of the pool
  • 6 concrete/PVC pipe poles total — 3 on each side

3. Lane Lines

• Put in the competition lane lines located in the equipment room.
• Put in the short lane line to block off the dive tank cutout.

4. Garbage Cans

Place the green and blue garbage cans around the pool deck:

• 2 by the stairs
• 2 in the grassy area next to the shed wall
• 2 by the north side gate
• Round garbage cans can be placed in various locations around the pool deck.

5. Lawn Mats

• Put out the black mats located in the outdoor equipment area.
• Place them on the grass next to the stairs and along the back side of the shed.

6. Heat Sheets

• Hang/tape the heat sheets on the fence by the grassy hill.

7. Parking Lot

• Place orange cones to block off the gravel driveway in front of the pool.
• Place two large cones in the gravel parking lot to designate parking spaces for the visiting team coaches.
